Valentine’s Day – Paris

Valentine’s Day (Saint Valentin), more low key here, is celebrated in France not just with with chocolates but with Valentine-themed food!  Chocolates, macarons, even bread or pretzels!

From Picard’s appetizer lips (foie gras with raspberry jelly) to Patrick Roger’s sensuous chocolate heart (in many flavors) to Jean-Paul Hévin’s chocolate stiletto.  Or La Mère de Famille’s chocolate love locks (riffing on the love lock craze on the Pont des Arts) to macarons to bread hearts!  Enjoy – even if you’re not celebrating Valentine’s Day in France this year!
