The Rosenblum Collection of Contemporary Art

April 15th, 2013

Interested in contemporary art? Visit the current exhibit ‘Crossing Mirrors’ at the Rosenblum Collection, a private art museum tucked away in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.  Established several years ago by Steve and Chiara Rosenblum to support contemporary artists as well as showcase their collection and that of friends they’ve mounted exhibits for the last 3 years.  The current exhibit, Crossing Mirrors, juxtaposes contemporary pieces with pieces from traditional cultures around the world.  The museum can only be visited on Saturdays when there is an expo (generally October/November – June), with guided visits at 11 and 3, in French or English (or both) depending on the needs of the group.  Currently, only the upcoming visits in April (April 20 and 27) are shown online but in theory there should be visits in May and June.  To reserve online click here.  10 euros per person.  You can pay on arriving at the museum but you must reserve in advance (visits are limited to 15 – 20 participants).
