New Year’s Eve Paris – Free Transportation

December 30th, 2013

If you’re spending this New Year’s Eve in Paris here’s some good news – public transportation (metro, RER, buses) will be free from 5pm on December 31 until noon on January 1.  In addition, certain metro and RER lines will run all night (instead of closing by 2am on holiday nights).   Included are metro lines 1, 2, 4, 6, 9 and 14 as well as RER A and B.  Note:  Not all stations on these lines will be open so you may need to walk a bit further than usual.  For full details click here.

So go out, have fun and don’t worry about having to find a taxi to get you home!

Happy New Year!  Bonne année !
